I wonder how many celebrities are living in the 'City of Angels". I guess a lot :razz: So there is a big chance to meet them on the streets, isn't it ? Where the celebs are always going to shops, restaurants, cinemas (I am asking because I want to go to L.A. - maybe not know but in the near future) ? How many celebs did you met there (question for people who are living there) ?

i might vacation in LA in a couple months

Well I can't really tell you that much about LA. I went there in April for three days and I never saw any celebrities (except for Bob Barker during The Price Is Right). We even did a tour of Warners Brothers and didn't see anyone.

I can tell you about NYC though. I have lived here for five years and I have seen many celebrities. Parker Posey lives a few blocks away and I see her walking her dog every once in awhile. I've also seen Edward Norton, Sharon Osborne, Jesse Martin, Chris Noth, Geoffrey Ross, Max Weinberg, Andy Richter, Rider Strong, Matthew Broderick, Mike Myers, Rachel Dratch and Julia Stiles randomly while just walking down the street. I've also seen Will Smith, David Duchovny, Lily Taylor and people from Law and Order filming movies/tv shows and I've met a few actors and musicians at parties my friends with cool jobs have taken me to. I never actually go up the celebrities, though, because I don't want to bother them. I just don't want to be rude because I feel like they want to keep their anonymity. If you are going to NYC I can probably give you a list of celebrity "hot spots."

Wow that's great !! In my country I can only meet celebrities in Warsaw and Cracow but I am not living there What is "hot spots" ?

And what about L.A., London and NYC (maybe other people) ?

"Celebrity hot spots" are places where celebrities tend to go to and hang out. For example, it could be a specific part of the city, a restaurant, a night club, or a store.

I've lived in NYC my whole life and the only celebrities I've seen were Britney Spears, K-Fed and Snoop Dogg because they were shooting a music video in my neighborhood a few years ago. I don't live in Manhattan, so that's probably why I don't tend to see much celebrities..Manhattan is where the stars mostly are, even though I live in Queens, there are celebs that are there like Lucy Liu.

I'm going to NYC one of these weekends. What are the hotspots?

It's the same like in Switzerland, there are no celebrities except of Zurich sometimes, and I'm not living there.

I was 1 week in Paris and a few days in Milan, I've never seen a famous person there

I think it would be great to live in L.A. or in New York

Yes, I think I will move to L.A., NYC or London someday It would be great to see a lot of celebrities of big format.
