BREAKING NEWS (literally) OUT OF ABC 7 CHICAGO

I just saw this live and wanted to be first to write about it online.

A car just crashed into the ABC 7 streetside studio. As our Chicago-Land users know, ABC 7's studio front is a sheet of glass (just a big window). A car has just crashed into this window on live TV. At the moment, nobody appears injured. As of now, the police and fire department have arrived, and they are still doing the news live out of their studio.

A new update:

They believe that it was on purpose, but it hasn't yet been confirmed.

It was a silver mini-van (probably a Mazda). The station doesn't know anything more, and when they learn more it won't be released until the news at 5 am.

That is freaking insane! They think it's on purpose? Who would do that?

I have a little more information:

It said that the driver drove up and down State St. a few times making several U-Turns before crashing into the studio, and he is currently in the custody of the Chicago Police.

I have nothing more to share.
