What was the first music album you ever bought?

I thought this would be an interesting topic!
The first album I ever purchased was "Horizon" on vinyl by The Carpenters. I sacrificed my Beano comic and bought it with my pocket money at a car boot sale in 1995. I've loved the Carpenters since I was a little girl and I was always buying their records from charity shops and car boot sales lol!
The first album I bought new was - wait for it - "Aquarium" by Aqua when I was about 12 years old. I think I just bought it coz everyone else had it and I threw it out about five years ago as it was painfull to listen to!

mine wasnt too bad, it was 'the invisible band' by travis. funnily enough i still haven't listened to it all the way through. cant remember how old i was...must have been around 13 at the time. saw them live a few weeks back - top band.

Mine was Bone Thugs N Harmony's
East 1999 Eternal! Still the best rap album ever made, though I'm into metal now

Mine was from British rock band Jethro Tull the album was called A PASSION PLAY for the small sum of 1.50pounds back in 74.This has got to be the finest 1.50 i have ever spen in my life.
This album changed my music direction,not the best Tull album,this has more twists in it than a snake has.
I love it
