Twilight series VS Harry Potter

I just finished reading "eclipse" and this question crossed my mind. For those of you that have read both series. Which series do you like better. Please post why you chose what you chose.
I don't know which I would choose because they both have there own special thing about it.

Twilight, most definitely
It has such a beautiful story to it and I can relate to the characters-which I can't with Harry Potter.
It also has better looking male characters, although Harry Potter also had Robert Pattinson so......

Harry Potter, definitely. Before HP came along, I really hadn't been excited about any fictional novels for many years, and just spent my time reading autobiographies and the works of playwrights instead. The way JK Rowling writes is very rare, she completely engrosses you in the story and has all the wit & creativity I enjoyed so much with Roald Dahl.

Twilight, like trooperkittie said, It's a beautiful story and I can really relate to alot of the characters. But I do like Harry Potter
but it just doesn't speak to me as much as Twilight does, I think Stephanie caputers alot of emotions you go trough
while the HP series caputers alot of actions, if that makes any sense
both of the series are great and I love them both
but I got more into the Twilight series and it speaks to me more than HP

I haven't read the Twilight series but in my opinion Harry Potter cannot be beaten!! So I'm voting for the HP series!!

Twilight saga! {love} its soooooooooooooooooooooooo romantic, and the movie comes out on my birthday! Plus, Stephanie Meyer is talented in writing them. I do like HP series though. I cried during the last book...

I've only read Twilight and I'm halfway through New Moon but I definitely prefer them over Harry Potter. It's sort of weird because I don't normally like romantic type books but the Twilight series is awesome.

I don't like romance either but I too thought Twilight was really good.

I choose Twilight over HP completely for many reasons. Harry Potter is "against" my religion (Christianity) and it can be against Catholics or some religious people. Twilight is romance with adventure and it's the absolute REASON why the sixth movie of HP was postponed to next summer and Twilight was release one month earlier than the expected release date. Now and then, at school and at places, people now carry around the Twilight saga books and talk about it more than they do than HP. HP was famous for a long time but Twilight has become the 'New and Next Best Thing'! I knew many people that thought both HP movie AND the book was horribly boring at times but 'hardly' anyone i know felt the horrid towards the Twilight saga. PLUS, it's wayyyy cheaper than Harry Potter and it's way more amazing!
