Hi, I´d like to pass my entrance exams for journalism at the Charles University so I have to pass an entrance interview. There I need to bring some of my texts I wrote. And I'd like to write an essay about the Czech Republic (my country) in eyes od foreigners. That's why I ask you for your help. Would some of you be so kind an answer these my questions?

2) What does cross your mind first when someone says "Czech Republic"?
3) Do you know where the Czech Republic is located on the world without looking into a map?
4) Have you ever been there? If you have - did you like it? If not - would you like to come there some day?

4) Have you ever been there? If you do - did you like it? If not - would you like to come there some day? I've never been there, but if I did go into main Europe then I wouldn't say no!
5) Do you know some famous Czech historical or contemporary person? Masaryk - an old leader I think.

Erica, thank you so much! It really means a lot for me! As for the famous people - I guess our football players are pretty famous but I think in the U.S. there's a bit different football, not the same game and same kind of player as in Europe, is it?
