hey guys, tonight was the second time someone i wanted to meet has cancelled last minute, the first time was baseball legend ralph kiner i had previously met him so it wasnt that bad, but it still was unfourtante, but that night i got alot of autographs from other legends. anyway tonight was terrible, as a lot of you know ive been looking forward to meeting mookie wilson ,for forever i had two special items i wanted signed the book the bad guys won(about the 1986 new york mets) ,and a foul ball from shea stadium, anyway weve been waiting for a while to get a good spot in line so we get in line, and my dads talking to one of the guys, runnning it hes like me and my son are looking forward to meet mookie, and the guys like he cancelled last second you didnt hear pat tabler is coming instead, anyway we got his autograph instead but still i wish i wouldve got mookies.

but ya whats your story if you got one about going to a autograph signing then finding out the celebs cancelled

btw i wound up getting signed a progam and a blue jay baseball both personalized, and dont get me wrong pat was super nice and was a great player, but as a mets fan mookie is the ultimate, pat played for the mets too but hes no mookie.

Kathryn Drysdale cancelled last minute when I went to meet her at Memorabilia Birmingham. I was gutted coz I love her in Two Pints. I met three other people though, so it wasn't a wasted journey.
Worse was when I went to autographica. I travelled to Birmingham on the train, which is quite expensive from where I live, because there were four celebs I wanted to meet. When I got there, I found that two out of the four had cancelled! I got to meet Tony Curtis, so that softened the blow ( ) but I still felt a bit deflated only getting two autographs when I'd travelled all that way!
