Riddle

I just thought it could be funny/interesting to solve riddles that appeared in books, movies, TV, etc. This can be number-riddles, logic-riddles or whatever. The person who solves a riddle can post the next riddle and so on. So lets see how many riddles out there...
I will just start with the following riddle from a movie:
A beggar had a brother. This brother died, but when he was alive he hadn't had a brother. Why not?
(no hints possible)

Nope, I have never even heard the riddle before. What movie?
I can't really think of any riddles from movies.. do they have to be from one, or can it just be a riddle? if so, someone else might as well go ahead and post one, lol.

I'll have a go. Some of you may have seen this before.
A man was driving a black truck. His lights were not on. The moon was not out. A lady was crossing the street. How did the man see her?
If it's too easy and gets answered too quickly I might post another one?
