Junior Moderators
The last thing I am trying to do is start an argument. I have the utmost respect for everyone here. I just have to say that the system should be changed. I think that it is ridiculous that you just have to PM the Admin just to become one. It seems that a few of them are not very experienced, and are pretty naive when it comes to successes. I have been collecting for over a year with a fair amount of AUTHENTIC successes, and I do not think that I am fit to be a JM. You should have a lot more knowledge than the amateurs (I don't exclude myself from that group), and I am not entirely convinced that all of them do. There should be some type requirement to be a JM. I apologize if I offended anyone. Good luck to everyone requesting autographs!!!
Re: Junior Moderators
oh...im new here, so i dont really know. what does a junior moderator do?
Re: Junior Moderators
Sorry big tuna, I quite new here to, I just new that JM standed for junior moderator.
Re: Junior Moderators
For anyone out there (like myself) who started collecting LONG before the internet was even around to find address, just use this great site and be thankful that you don't have to run around town trying to find a book store that even stocked old celebrity address books. (which of most were outdated by 1 year or more when they were published)
New collectors don't even realize how good they have it now. Bickering over who is a moderator or who is not is a complete waste of time. New collectors will have to go through the years of experience spotting PP's, autopens, forgeries, etc. Take advice from veterans of the trade but ultimately you'll have to rely on yourself from being ripped off. {thumb2}

Re: Junior Moderators
i agree with you 100% it is way too easy to become a jm,
i know that i have only been on here 5 months but long before that i have been looking into autograph collecting etc so i feel i have pretty good knowledge on the subject, but the rules do need to be changed as you see newbies being jm and they know nothing about autographs

Re: Junior Moderators
thats not entirely true, scouser. i am a newbie to the site, but i have been collecting for years. i don't really understand this junior moderator concept, but i have enough experience to be one (from what you're saying).
