I've got an idea

A lot of new people that come on the site don't understand a lot of the rules and i think that when you first sign in onto the website, all the rules and the meaning of words come up. Tell the new user about the website and what a sase is if you know what i mean.

Anyone think it's a good idea?

i see the benefits in it, but if a new user comes on and first sees the rules they may think "well this is boring im going somewhere else", we don't want that to happen, maybe and automatic PM sent to them explaining the rules would be better?

Maybe a direction to a rules page would be good, then the new member knows its here if they need it, I have a rules page and how to.. on my fan website. I know when I joined I didnt know what TTM IP PP....was so I was abit miffed
