Re: Get rid of reputation points
I wasn't disagreeing. I just think your statement was hypocritical.Andy316 wrote:Its abuse of the system. Ok MailMan, thats cool
The rep system is still a joke, take the neg rep I got from CDolan, here - http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 802#247802
is that bed rep worthy? No, he did it because I gave him one for being rude.
These things cause more trouble than anything else on this board, lets just get rid of them...

Heres some more evidence of rep abuse
5 positives from the same person, a person who has no posts. Also the "0 poster" and the person who actually received the reps, both frequently give me bad reps.
Another case of 2 accounts, 1 person. Pathetic.

There may be 'evidence' to support your claims but can't the reputation system just be ignored? There are worse things going on in the world.Andy316 wrote:Heres some more evidence of rep abuse

No, it can be ignored when people abuse it.
Take for example the bad rep I got today by someone who clearly started a 2nd account TODAY just to give a bad rep point - its sad!
Cant these people be banned?
The system works 99% of the time, but when people make 2nd accounts to rep each other and give multiple bad reps to the same person, well then they need removing.
