Signature sizes are getting WAY out of hand

I bought this up before, and things calmed down a bit, but seeing as I'm no longer a Mod I dont have the authority to tell people to reduce their sig sizes.

But loads of people have tonnes of images in their sig and its far too big, like this guy -http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/memberlis ... le&u=14702 - not singling him out, just the last one Ive seen, but that is ridiculous, its over a whole web page of crap to scroll past.

Can we please get an official rule or Mods chasing people up on this PLEASE?

I dont think there should be a RULE, because that means that it makes it harder for the sig makers (im 1 of them) but I just think if a mod comes across someone like that, to tell them. I understand where you are coming from though!

There should be a rule. Your sig size is fine. Slightly bigger is passable. The problem comes when people put huge pics there and/or put 3,4,5 sig pics on top of each other, I dont see the point in it, its just annoying...

I think there should be a rule of no more than one banner in your signature. I'll ask admin if we can implement this because I agree, it's really annoying to have to scroll down a million graphics just to read a line of text.

I understand, you are right. I know the one I made for him is way too big! But it was one of my first days and I didnt know how to re-size it!

Agreed 100%. There should be a maximum size. It's annoying to have to scroll down through huge or multiple signatures. And especially for some people that might have a slower internet connection, it would take a long time to load probably.

Yeah I definitely agree with that, I think it should be one picture maximum. I just hope mine isn't too big!

Oh and by the way, do those ticker things take a long time to load?

I reckon the Tickers are fine, they're not excessively large or anything.
