Time and Date on Posts.

When you're browsing a forum, there will be the first and last post on each topic. On the last post, it will show a time and date, but not on the first post.

I think it'd be easier when browsing if there was a time and date on the first post, too. It'd be so much easier for moderators and TMs, so if a topic was bumped, they can lock it easier, because without even opening it, they'd know if it was bumped.

Here's what I mean by time and date:

admin, do you think we could do this?

UUHHHHH You have been on here a year? Take your little pointy thing, It's attached to your mouse, It's the little arrow thing, and just point in the left hand side of the original post and it shows you the date and time it was posted. :lol: :roll:

I see what you're saying but I'm not sure it's needed to be honest. The list of topics displays the last post time & who started the topic (not actually the first post at all). I understand the point about knowing if a dead topic has been bumped, but it's not as easy as that, as a long running topic (or even one that has had say one post a week) can run for a few months without actually being a resurrected post. The only way to really tell is the time from the last post to the prior post. So the suggestion works in theory, but not in practice Im afraid.

That, was uncalled for.

Its a good idea but its easy to find out the first post when you click the topic and its the first post there {up}

Hmm, true. But usually popular ones are always at the top, but you can never be sure if it's a post thats new with just a few posts, or an old one with a new post.

And yes hasbro, that was uncalled for.
