You could make the forums better by clearing up old post ,a post older than 2 years, and deleting post instead of locking them.
I understand the need for having older post show success but really did you need 3 year old post? The address if current would show in most recent successes

Great idea, but this would take hundreds of hours and a lot of manpower. Most of us mod's have day jobs and don't have the time to undertake such a huge task.

They will quickly delete your post if they don't agree with them though

I can see your point, but a lot of lesser known people may only have 1 or 2 feedbacks posted here - which are several years old. Removing them would leave people with no idea as to whether these people sign, how long they take, if you have to include anything specifically with your request, (as in an SASE instead of SAE and IRCs or something) and any information, however old can be useful. I've written to a lot of people who haven't had feedbacks posted for them in several years, so any information I can obtain is vital to me. {thumb2}

You don't have to delete them one by one, you could just prune them, which would take only a moment.
But I agree with Phoebe, some people just don't have a lot of feedback and whatever information one can get (even if it's years old) could be helpful. There isn't any point to delete them, unless the server was running out of space.
