I think you should remove the reputation points.. You have a few kids in here that think they run this planet because there reputation points are 12 higher than yours. Those same people are the cry babies that go running to the admin, asking for there points to be removed. How is that fair? Whats the reason behind reputation points if the slate is whiped clean? Reputation points is no more than scratch my back, I will scratch yours.. Except when i scratch to hard, you cry and get it fixed.. I guess people like myself could spam alot more if we wanted more points.. Does having more points make you a smart, more knowledgable, person? Does it mean you know more than the average person? Then WHY are people in this forum allowed to?

OK.. So a few hours later..
I get 2 of the negative rep points removed for being a smartmouth.. Interesting.. Another user gets ALL his negatives removed.. He is still better than me, becasue he has more rep points.. Hence, on my reputation , he states too look at his feedback, then mine..
WHATS THE PURPOSE FOR THIS REPUTATION POINTS OF THAN FLAMING????
And to top it off, it is removed instantly!?

I agree.....leave negative feedback for any moderator and they get it removed straight away.
These are the same moderators ive complained about for been rude, ignoratn and thinking they are much better than other people on the site.
They think just because theyve been made a moderator it makes them better than everybody else.

Hi Toad King
Moderators are carefully chosen, and are not considered lightly. A moderator must meet special critera to become one.
99.9999 percent of the time, a neg point for a mod is unwarrented or was made out of retalliation, and deserves to be removed.
If you feel a moderator is acting rude, or out of cunduct, PM admin or TheCollector with your information.

I use the rep points sometimes when a member has been very helpful or kind or polite (you get the point...) I've never left a negativ rep point simply because I think it's unnecessary to do so... I don't care about my own points very much.
And, I don't think mods think they are better than "the rest"... ;)

Oh really
Here are some QUOTES
"Doesn't let anything go. Take a look at your rep points, then mine- Peace"
"Well according to me, the reputation factor sorts this out. Up until goldy left a negative rep for me, I had a good count in my opinion. Much higher than his. So its not me who is rude and what not."
This post is old news, and can now be locked...

goldy,
I really do think this thread has run it's course now.
I have been in contact with you already and you are well aware of the situation. There is very little point in continuing to raise an issue you have had with another member when the issue has now been dealt with.
It really is time to look forward and move on. If you have a new issue to talk about then please let me know.
Otherwise
enough
Ian
