instead of a drawing for a gift certifiate you should have a drawing for people to became Moderators it would save you money and i think people would enjoy that just a thought

I didn't get a gift certificate and I'm a moderator. You need to have an area of expertise to become a moderator. Like TheCollector's is Charity Auction. Alice Walker's is Autograph Collecting Discussions. AutographOBSESSED's is Movie Set Addresses and Filming Locations. Mine and Insatia's is Collecting Help. So just because you win a gift certificate doesn't mean you become a moderator.

As far as I am aware from Admin, the gift certificate prize is currently awarded on a "first name out of the hat" basis. This means that the winner each month is totally random from those who contribute that month.

If you started the scheme you proposed, somebody who had only began collecting 5 minutes ago could win and thus be allocated a forum to moderate. You really have to have at least a bit of a proven track record!!!!!
