dgangel is a very good mod! She only tells the truth. She isn't going to tell people what they want to hear just to make them happy.

I do agree that SOME of the censorship is over the top. But the language should definitely be censored. Younger kids wouldnt be saying them if they didn't hear or see them somewhere first. I don't want fanmail.biz to be the source of kids using words and then getting in trouble for them later. Remember those words that your parents let you use before you found out the "bad words", why not use those??

And a big AMEN to Andy!! Lets get some grammar censorship for crying out loud!! haha

I'm not a big fan on censorship however the cursing should be censored. Being a MOD. for 8 years on a very popular games site it gets way out of hand. However censoring/deleting posts on what autographs you received is absolutley ridiculous and childish unless the pic. is X rated on not censored/cover up by the poster. This I think(sometimes I wonder) is an autograph site and regardless of race, religion, Ideals etc. they should not be deleted.

i'm not sure that i understand what the original post is talking about ... but like many here, i do not believe in censorship, especially when it comes to whether or not a person is allowed to state a personal opinion about the authenticity of an autograph; or whether or not a success is a "success" or a "failure". however, on that same note, i don't think that it would be appropriate to use language that may offend others. regardless of the fact that you can hear it used on TV and in everyday language (which I find hard to imagine people going about their daily lives, using f*bombs & "swearing like sailors" -- so to speak -- in every day casual conversation *lol*) ... if others find it offensive -- you shouldn't use it. therefore ... censorship in that sense needs to be done. as someone mentioned here, this is a site open to all ages ... it is best to be on the safe side and not swear at all. besides, there are many words we could use to convey what we really feel, and that still get to the point without having to use such "dirty" words, agree? ... ;-)

I think you need to more concerned about learning spelling, proper grammar, and punctuation before you get all bent of shape about what words are going to be censored or not. That post has the worst grammar and spelling mistakes I have ever seen. It is very hard to understand what you are trying to express.
