I have just received a message from someone calling themselves
Spam-Man-Resurrected
This person has just joined and immediately has sent out messages, I assume to more people than just myself.
Would you please remove this twit from the database.
Thank you.

Set your board preferences so that you can't receive messages from members. Not preferable I know but don't expect anything to be done about this...

That is an option, but I am communicating with other members through PM and that would seriously hamper exchange of info. I suppose I could tell them to email me.
So I guess that means I am stuck with putting up with jerks like this person that seems to get pleasure out of bothering other people.
Thanks for the suggestion though. I appreciate your offering some sort of resolution.

You could add him as a foe, but I think you still get PMs from him.
The best thing to do is to give the people you trust your e-mail address, so you can still communicate, but not via PM.

I would encourage all members to forward these messages to the admin and he might realise this is a problem...

Agreed. I don't think admin's taking as active a role as he should in the problems of this site.

It is not fair to say admin isnt taking a role in solving problems. Admin has done lots for this site. However, it would be great if solutions to problems like spamming can be found.

Jason, I don't mean anything personally against Admin. He has given us a free site with wonderful resources and I appreciate that, but I just feel he should be more actively involved on other levels too. There are many problems which require more of his authority/interaction.

I understand what you mean, especially now that ceran have resigned as global mod- due to the chaos on our forum.
