Idea for this bit of the forum

I was wondering if there could be a topic where if they find a movie instead of making a topic they can put it on this one, You can put the address, if you want some info, who's in it and when it's starting, you can do the same thing for gigs, We could have a topic, one for each country, such as United Kingdom, America etc, When there's a gig or movie in that country, you put the address, info, who's in it and when it's starting in the right country, is this a good idea or do you not get it? please post back.

For example, I click on new topic, put the country "Via Venue in America, gigs and movies coming up", the members on the site will put the movie and the relevant info etc. We can put it up as a sticky.

Hmm..I think it works more effectively as it is now - instead of trawling through pages and pages in a topic of via venue info and dates that you're not interested in, you can get to the specific one you want immediately because you see it in the topic title. For example, if I'm looking for Jonathan Rhys Meyers's new via venue address, I can just click on 'Shelter (2008)', and bang - the relevant info's all there. I don't want to click on a topic and first look through a whole list of productions/concerts happening in America to get to the specific one I want. And there's also no need to make it country specific - you'd have to make a topic for every country then, not just the U.S and England! For example, a large chunk of the new Bond movie was filmed in..what was it Croatia? Slovakia? I dunno, one of those countries Another movie, with Jude Law I think, is being filmed in Spain now - so you see, it becomes very problematic to have a thread for every possible country in the world. {thumb2}

I think it's quite a good idea as I find it quite irritating looking through all of the sets just to find some in the U.K.

Neither of them, it was in my country, in the Czech Republic (well, Slovakia's a neighbour contry of it). Sorry, I just had to correct it!

And I agree with you that the topics about via venue addresses should remain as it is now. I think it's much better.
