Glad I could be help. It is what I have been doing.nowandagain wrote:Hi Jamesjames wrote:You can split a topic in feedback, and move the spam message to another forum you moderate, and delete it there
I hadn't thought of that!! If it was just individual threads I'd move and delete, but because they were part of a perfectly normal feedback thread I just edited them and let Fanmail-Bot do the rest.
Thanks for the tip

There was a spam post in forum ideas, in a topic that I get email notifications on, so I pressed the "!" button since only Ian mods that forum, so it could be deleted faster. But then when I went to games the same bot had posted the same post in one of the games topics. I deleted the post, but there was no red Ban button, and I am pretty sure the user hadn't been banned yet when I got there. Anyone know what's going on?

I deleted the posts. Thanks James
Sorry guys, i temporally removed the ban button. A lot of new members were getting banned without reason.
It will be back soon.

Admin, you just reminded me of something that's happening in the JM forums. Several of the JM's were listing the usernames of members that hadn't made any posts in the 'spam user' thread.admin wrote:I deleted the posts. Thanks James
