Hello all, I've just decided to make a post notifying you all that I will be on a brief hiatus. Due to some uncontrollable circumstances along with upcoming Finals Week, I will be focusing on things other than Fanmail. It should only be until the 19th at the latest. I will be posting even less than I am now (you probably didn't think it was possible, but it is). I will be monitoring the board, and answering PM's, but that will be about the extent of it. The only reason I am saying this is because I will not be able to continue the "Board Clean-up" for a while, and so I'll open it up to you guys. I have unlock the list and if you have a member you want added- feel free to do so. Basically ignore the part of the list asking no one to edit it. It would be appreciated that I not be swept up in the clean up, but it honestly doesn't matter to me if I am demoted to organize things.

On a secondary note (trying to reduce Posts), when I return in a while completely I will be more active on here than ever thanks to a little holiday break. I plan to reveal something that I think is bigger (ex. possible things like Ipod giveaways to encourage active/useful participation on the boards= nothing is worked out as of yet, and so I will see how everything plays along.) as well.

Lastly, I have opened up a poll concerning SelenaandDemiFan. I know many of you on here may like her, but as of right now myself and a few other people I have spoken to feel otherwise (various reasons). I have nothing against her, but before I spoke to a Global or anything like that I've decided to take a quick poll. This will be open around 10 days (so when I get back), and the votes can be left anonymously or you can post (which would be appreciated, as this can help others see your point of view). It is up to you what you decide.

My vote: Demotion

• she acts somewhat immature- whether that be caused by her age or other reason I do not know
• already tries to act like she is a moderator
• has sent PM's to a few people complaining of different issues (myself for being a Moderator), and I believe sunkissed08 for a large signature (which at the time was hypocritical)
• tries to please everyone (possibly in the hopes of promotion) most recently, she posted an uneducated post saying how she was displeased with Andy, and now makes another post saying that he should be nominated as Autograph Expert once again.
• various other ones... I will caveat this by saying that I have nothing against her personally, I just don't feel she has had enough experience or the mindset to be part of the Moderation team- not for a lack of trying. I also mean nothing against Chrissy, admin or any one else for making this poll- or making her TM.

**If anyone would like to argue with one of my bullets that is fine. For all I know everyone could disagree with me, but I feel I might as well as express my opinions (if I just sat around and pretended nothing was "wrong" then I'm obviously not doing my job). Hey, this is the internet, and while the website may be run out of Japan, there is the right to freedom of speech (I'll caveat this as well: no full out wailing/ derogatory remarks on anyone posting their opinion or SelenaandDemiFan, this should be purely based on facts)

As you may know I agree with you 100% Maybe in a years time she might of grown into the roll, but at the moment she seems to rub me up the wrong way :neutral: Like OP has said this is just our opinion. This is me being tame on the subject

As well as the points above I will add the time spam was posted on the TM thread when she cried and screamed for action about Andy calling her a pube and then when no-one agreed she deleted the thread and low and behold she said her little sister posted it :neutral: I told her to maybe sign out and stop other people getting authority on the site and she said no its fine as it is :neutral:

And then, when I corrected her on errors on the site, as you do, (she was giving out wrong info) I got a PM from her telling me to stop being mean to her and how admin will get me demoted

I have not been on here for quite some time do to personal issues but i am here now and i am trying to sort this out. I will talk to her and keep watch of her since she is on my team. If i see this continuing i will request her be demoted.

I'd say monitor her for a while. Give her some pointers to improve. One thing I don't like about her though is that she seems to be picking on other members.
For example today she posted something about one of our moderators; (topic was called. This Guy!) she was wondering why they were a moderator, because they had only 100 posts and been on the site for less then a month. Funny thing though, she made a mistake; That moderator has been here for over 1 year and has over 700+ posts. lol.
I don't think it should be the place of any tms to complain about or question our mods, gms or aes.

I voted for her to be demoted for the reasons already mentioned above, plus the fact that she sent me a PM asking why did I lock a topic requesting a home address! Pretty obvious why I did, isn't it?! :neutral:

She also kept Pm'ing on why I locked a topic that was over 4 months old and she bumped it.

I sent her a PM saying that "please do not bump old topics"
She replied very immuturally and unknowledgeable saying "so what, i wanted to reply to give my advice"

She needs to be demoted. She is immautre, unknowledgeble, already considers herself a Moderator, and overall not fit to become a mod. She also does not post helpful things.

She already thinks she's an administrator, nevermind a moderator!

Another thing just to add

she has over 40 posts on one topic....a game

the game is : "how famous is the user above you"

Not helpful whatsoever.

She is the most immature person on the boards, and like Shambler said, she thinks she runs the boards. Anyone who posts in games as much as her and is a TM - should be demoted. She contributes to the site in no way shape or form.



ps...Matt i'm so sorry I underestimated you at first. You are an amazing moderator. {thumb2}
