As far as all the complaints and critics on Fanmail.biz goes, you should understand that we are still your Moderators, GM's and AE's and we are still here to serve for the better of the forum. Honestly, we log on to this forum everyday, because we believe in making this place better.

At the current time, Members and Collectors, Moderators and GM's are leaving this forum and we are at risk of being overtaken by other autographs forums.

Please work together with us. Please advice us, talk to us. At the end, we share a simultaneous target - to make Fanmail.biz a better place.

This post is no joke, we really need to start working together or else it will only be a matter of time until Fanmail.biz losses it's hard-earned status of being one of the largest autograph community in the world.

Yeah, I agree. I'm sick of seeing all these new members become TMs so quick. It's like, 'hey! new member? here's a job to be a TM!" but I must say...some are pretty good and some just do nothing. Well, admin definitely should give Mods some abilities..I can't delete topics or posts.

I have got the same problem, so I asked admin how it comes some Mods have powers of deleting etc. and others don't, and he replied that I had to moderate a particular forum. Don't know if this is also your case, though.

2. The spammers won't be able to create new accounts anymore. The registration page has just been updated.

3. The server has just been upgraded. The message board should be faster now

4. Overall Moderators have the right to promote all the new TM & M they want.

5. Do not delete threads. Move them to the trash forum.

this has never worked for me, and I just tried it and it still doesnt. when I select the move topic option, it brings up the list of forums to move it to, the ones in black I can move it to, the ones in light gray (like trash) it wont let me select

also, I dont see anything on the registration process that will stop spammers, I just made an account using a fake email address and it took about 30 seconds. theres still no email cofirmation required

Admin: PLEASE can we try to get people back to our board? Maybe if we tried to advertise our website more like how you have ads running on the site, what if we got ads running on other sites? That would surely help us get back to normal. We can write about autographs in the ad, how fun they are, and the board! Just my idea, though.

This is not true at all. I just made an account in under 10 seconds and logged in with it with no problem at all. There has been no upgrade to the registration process whatsoever, and spammers will be free (as always) to make as many accounts as they want.

Edit - Just saw the above post about this, but oh well.

Look, admin, I'm not trying to be rude at all but if you keep recruiting people into Mods, the board is gonna be destroyed soon. I think over the last 6 months, I saw about 30 people become mods who I barely see on the boards...by making them mods, you are letting them move and delete ANY topics/posts. I don't think it's fair, sorry.

Two things, 1.) that costs money, dependent on where your placing adds- that can cost a huge amount, 2.)I don't think buying a lot of ads would help the condition of the boards, we barely have enough control over the current situation- the last thing we'd need would be more users. Yes more collectors would be great but:
-more true collectors, means there'll probably be more spammers
-a huge influx of traffic, means more server congestion and a repeat of what happened before
-more people would also mean more TM's and Mods... which as it is isn't functioning as it should. There are enough mod's and TM's to run a board twice this size... but because some of us (myself included) aren't doing everything we could, it's taking a lot more staff than it should.
