It seems like every post he makes is bumping an old thread. I have asked him SO many times not to bump old topics and I lock it. He has apologised for it so he is aware that he shouldn't be doing it, then he does it again 5 minutes later! What do you suggest we do about this? A PM stating that if he does it one more time he'll get a warning, or just go ahead and give him a warning since he has been asked not to several times before?

Examples:

http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 32&start=0 - This one was 6 months old and he bumped it today.

Just check his posts and you'll see what I mean! Almost every post he makes is bumping an old thread.
So what do you suggest?

I would just issue a warning on him, doesn't look like he is messing about on purpose.

Please go ahead and give this member a warning. He should know after telling him not to do it. Looks like he is provoking us by doing it.

I agree Lil 1, I think he should be made aware he is doing something wrong. by PM first, and then if he still does it, then you should issue the warning.

I have locked one of his bumped up topics today, but I do think that if you PM him, he will stop.

Yes I think you must have, unless he sent that message before you warned him.

Okay, I am giving him a warning and the above is my justification. We don't need another "larrycollectingphotos" on the forum. (For the newer mods here "larrycollectingphotos" was a user who bumped pages of threads with comments such as "Good success!").

I agree Thanks Jason. He is doing it too many times now, and even when he's warned, he still does it.

Let's give him one last chance, Nick talked to me via PM and he seems truly sorry about it
