Hi! I was wondering if we should go and tell all of the members of fanmail.biz of our decision that for now, everybody will not be able to try and get promoted to tm or mod??? If we dont, we will have to tell them each when they ask...if we do, then it will be easier for all of us. please vote so we can decide what to do...Thanks!

Well, I think we should make a statement saying no one should ask to be TM/ Mod. However, the members which we believe will make good TMs, will be approached, asked if they are intersted, then eventually a poll will be setted up here for us to decide.

I like your option Jason. That way the Mods get to make the decision on who to promote and not the members who just might be interested just for the position. Perhaps a sticky in one of the forums can say "About TMs and Mods" then go on to tell this.

BTW: I didn't realize something like this was decided, is there a topic discussing it? I like the idea though.

I agree 100% with Jason. I see so many inexperienced people wanting to be a TM, it's hurtful. I think we should discuss who we want to approach as a new TM because there are people who have good potential - and isn't that what this is all about?

I was wondering the same thing, when was this decided? and how are you going to get admin to go along with it?

I PM'ed admin and he said we need MORE MODS!!!! to add to the 10 dollar gift certificate even though it is INACTIVE and NOBODY HAS WON FOR A LONG TIME!!!

I havent voted yet because it doesnt matter if we tell them or not. If they go to admin they will be promoted.
