we could have it so we all vote on all teams for when somebody wants to be promoted.....that way there is no confusion, anger, and everybody knows when they will be promoted....you would sitll have a team leader, just we all vote....what do you think????

I voted yes.

We are all part of the fanmail.biz team, and will work with everyone else, no matter what team they are on. So we all should have a say on who becomes a mod and doesn't.

Also, I think everyone should have a poll..

I voted yes. but it doesnt really matter, since most people are promoted without a vote anyway.

I voted "I don't care" because I can't care less atm.

Members are being promoted without a poll, not just by admin but by GMs as well.

And what happened when Lizanne and I decided on setting up a poll so our team member's can decide on whether or not two potential TMs should be promoted? The poll was delected. :neutral:

The truth is, the result of the poll won't change anything.

I voted yes, but I also think voting as a team is good too.

Voting “Yes,” so that EVERYONE can know what is going on with promotions (Good point M:chael)

Voting “No, as teams” so their GM can have more control over who is promoted.

I like the idea of everyone voting, but the GM having the final say. Not really sure how that would work if everyone wanted to promote the TM but the GM didn’t like him/her, then the GM would be the bad guy—not a helpful situation.

But as Jason said, until we get admin on our side, I don’t see the situation resolving itself anytime soon. L

We already discussed your poll, Jason. And anyways, you shouldn't have had that up in the first place. It was going against what the GMs and Moderators agreed with in the beginning. Not going to get into it again.

Secondly, which GMs are promoting members?
