Encouraging new moderators

Hi Mods
Whilst it is a great idea to spot those moderators who no longer post on a regular basis, it is important that they are replaced rather than just "terminated" . . . . !
All I would say, is that a LOT of posts still go unanswered on the forum every day, so whilst we are spotting the people who no longer contribute can we all look out for prospective new moderators?
i.e. Members who post frequently and have something postive to contribute.
Some of the mods we have now are people who I approached last October/November when we had moderator/expert push. Remember that not all good candidates will approach us for a place, sometimes we can get some great mods by approaching members ourselves, and asking if they would be interested. Believe me, if they are not interested they will tell you so!
Just a thought
