Links to other forums?

theres been a link posted in general descussion to another forum, is this allowed? I seem to remember someone saying it wasnt but I cant find that post and would like to be sure before I take it down

I will definitely be interested in the answer to that question! I posted two other autograph website address in reply to the troublemaker who was questioning my Adam West success. Obviously I didn't mean any trouble, however there weren't any successes on here and I do cross-reference my information occasionally (however this is by far the best site ever !).

Generally links to other collecting forums are not allowed, but from time to time you might have to post a link in order to substantiate or prove something.

The rule applies mainly I think - to people posting such links in their signature panel

Actually, if you check at the bottom of the main http://www.fanmail.biz website you will see a "links" icon which takes you to a list of other "vetted" sites, use this link to take a look! http://www.fanmail.biz/links.php so the matter is not black and white.

Basically just be on the lookout in signature panels for links to forums. Links to personal websites are fine though!

I checked it out, and you were totally right to delete it. This is obviously a rival forum :x and should be exterminated

Just a bit of advice, but if in doubt delete suspect links, and PM the poster to let them know why you have done it.
