Hello,

I was updating the fedback forum when i came across the member Sami posting as a moderator. She or he is entering people into the contest without even being a moderator. I thought that this was REALLY strange.

As I was saying in my other post, she's strange!

I had just noticed this post too, and was about to tell you guys about it... Can he/she even enter people for the certificate? I mean, is it possible for him/her to do that?

I really don't know how she did it!!! She really is strange Dallas!! As far as i know, you cannot do that unless you have been given special permission from admin!! And only the selected mods that i know of can only do that. This is really weird.

Even though she posted that, I doubt it actually enters someone into the drawing . . .

Is the entry actualy on the list, or did she just say that it was put on the list? Perhaps she hacked someone's account to add it to the list if it is. Is there any way of checking?

Sami is not a moderator and shouldn't be giving out entries to the draw.

It does enter you into the draw (I think.) This was in the PM that admin sent me when I was allowed to give entries:

admin wrote:To enter someone into the contest do not forget to include the sentence "You have been added to the list for the $10 allposters.com gift certificate."

Sami doesn't have access to the Moderator Control Panel. Sami has been copying what should be in the post to give entries, and simply copied the links to the relevant person in the post. When you normally do so, there would be a link to the post under the feedback link (e.g. http://www.fanmail.biz/feedback/Oliver_Phelps.html ) and you would update the feedback received date (if required.)

As you can see, there is no link back to the sucess thread where Sami has given the entry. I don't think Sami has hacked into someone's account.

On the other hand it may be another person trying to become a moderator.
