Moderator CP login problem

Hi everyone 
Sorry to bother whomever answers this question for me ... I've run into a bit of a problem with Moderator CP. Anyway, I'll try to keep the story brief
Moderator CP was working fine for me this morning. However, since I hadn't run a anti-spyware program in a while I decided to do so. I have run it in the past and ignored the adware files associated with the toolbar. Today I accidently ticked to quarantine all files instead of ignoring the relevant files for the toolbar :o
As such, the toolbar didn't work, so I first uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I could use all the functions as normal, but when I reach the login screen it won't let me log into Moderator CP. I also tried restoring the files I had previously quarantined to no avail.
Does anyone know what to do to solve the problem? Everytime I enter my username, password and click on login it refuses to let me do so and the login screen comes back again with the fields blank.
If no one can think of a solution, that's OK. I am currently thinking about reformatting my computer some time soon when I actually get some free time (although this may be a little while away!!!)
