Is it just me or have threads/posts gone missing?

Hi everyone
I am pretty sure that this morning when I logged on there were many threads/posts missing that I am sure was there when I was online last night. When I logged on this morning, the last posts in many of the forums was from about midday or there abouts yesterday (in my time zone).
I'm probably missing about 10 posts, and I know others will be missing posts too
Am I not the only one to notice this problem? Or is it my imagination

?

aghhhhh! :x
Not again . . . .!
I have just lost all those feedback posts I did yesterday - took me best part of a couple of hours to do
I got caught like this last time and I lost a load of posts. I thought something was strange as I was prompted to log on today when I came to the site (never notmally have to do that).
I am going to check with Admin as to what the deal is before I post 'em all again . . . .
The forum is saying the last time I visted was Wednesday, so it looks like Thursday slipped into the Twilight Zone . . . .

When I opened the Fanmail homepage last night, it came up with something called 'cPanel'- what's that??

Hi Chewy,
I'm guessing that cPanel is something to do with the Control Panel that the Moderators CP have access to. It allows them to add people to the $10 AllPosters draw, and to acknowledge feedback posts.
I know Admin is currently working on the updated version, so that might have something to do with the forum problems last night. I guess you just stumbled upon something "confidential!"

both the fanmail.biz and absolute fan boards were down when I tried to get on yesterday, so that probably has something to do with it

That's probably has contributed to the problem ... however when this happened I was fast asleep and logged on fine when I got up this morning. I was able to log in automatically on my brother's computer this morning, but had to log in manually on my computer

Hi guys
Just heard back from Admin.
There was a problem with a technician at the hosting company yesterday, and the website was accidentally deleted
Unfortunately you will have to repost any missing posts as the site was backed up to the previous day (Wednesday), and Thursday was lost.
Everything should be back to normal now though
Cheers,
Ian

Thanks for letting us know Ian
Let's hope these incidents won't happen again (and a timely reminder for everyone to continually back up your data on your own hard drive!!)

I'm sorry everyone lost posts! I just got this message, I don't know if it is related to the forum being down or what, but I thought I'd put it out there in case it's important.
Failed sending email :: PHP ::

File : emailer.php
And I got it just now when I was trying to post. I'm assuming it's something with my computer for now.
