'Elton John Success' Post

I'm not a moderator on the Feedback Forum but I just thought I'd bring this post to everyones attention:

http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... sc&start=0

I think that the member 'goldy' is treating The_Terrible_Toad_King with a very bad attitude.

Also despite many people saying that Elton John's address should not be given out, goldy has done exactly that. I really don't see what point goldy is trying to make.

Can something be done about this post please? Thanks

Good work Joey and all the others who have intervened :P

Unfortunately some people who profess "not to care about the address anyway" are the very ones who want the address.

I know this for a fact due to all the PM's I had when I posted my success from Millvina Dean (another one who we have been asked not to give out her home address).

I know Elton fairly well and have been to his house twice. And I know for a fact that he would go loopy if we started giving out his home address, especially the full address!!!

Although it is going to his home he has a massive staff, and most partially addressed stuff he recieves gets sent straight to his agent's address anyway. It is only usually the occasional fully-addressed letter that ever gets through to him, and then only if he is at home.

It really is a gamble, and on this occasion it paid off for Toad king, but the vast majority still stand a better chance by writing to him via his agent.
