Hey All {thumb2}
I Think This Thread Should Be Locked To Prevent and Futher Arguments Breaking Out.

I Understand R.S.V.P's Opinion, But Sometimes He Puts It In A Way That May Offend Alot Of People.
What Do You Guys Think?

I think you're right, Aimee

I locked the thread.
R.S.V.P wrote:Honey, you simply don't get the point. Let me improve my Italian and I'll be happy to explain it to you in your native tongue.

If only I spoke better German, I'd try to explain to him why people are offended by him in
his native tongue

I'm glad that you've locked that topic, Joey

. I've never seen someone who insists on arguing with EVERYone so much as this member

! I can't believe that he doesn't see that there would have been a much nicer way to have stated his opinion

. I've given up on setting him straight after that VERY rude PM that he replied to me with since he continues to use inappropriate language/conduct and he's practically become a daily/weekly problem now.

Also, moderators should probably keep an eye peeled on the following topic as well. I don't understand why the heck R.S.V.P would advise to get Madonna's autograph at her hotel and in the next post he states that getting her autograph at her hotel would be impossible

. Makes no sense to me, just like a lot of the arguments that this member's allowed to continue on with.

R.S.V.P strikes yet again. He left the following post in the Feedback section:
R.S.V.P wrote:chanlerbin wrote:11x14
Wow, that is very unusual since 11x14 prints are damn expensive.

I've edited it and left a note to reflect this

. Some people just won't ever learn

Perhaps in Germany and/or other foreign countries it is not as inappropriate to say "damn"?
Obviously I wouldn't know this for sure, but if someone from another country would like to volunteer their opinion, it is welcome
Knowing this member, however, even if it is inappropriate, he would probably disregard that fact

:)

I'm Not Sure About Everywhere Else, But The Word "Damn" In England, Isn't Really Considered Offensive, So I'm Not Sure If R.S.V.P, Meant It In An Offensive Way..

Hi guys
Aimee is right
In the UK, damn is not considered a swear word really at all. It is mainly used when something has annoyed you, such as stubbing a toe, or dropping your mum's best crockery!!!!
Since this is an international board though, it is fine for moderators to ask members to refrain from using language that would be offensive if viewed by other people in their country.
BTW if anyone sees any offensive words being used on the board then please PM me or Admin and we can add them to the banned words list. That way the word will automatically be edited out if they are used in posts.
Thanks for being vigilant everybody
Ian
