New UK postal prices added (pricing in proportion 21 Aug 06)

Unread post by TheCollector »

Hi guys {up}

I have just added the new UK postal prices to the Collecting Help thread: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?p=49124

Basically overseas postage prices from the UK have not changed either to Europe, or Zone 1 (USA/Canada) or Zone 2 (Australia/New Zealand / Rest of the World).

The new prices only affect UK domestic postage.

Cheers!

Hi Ian :D

Nice work {up}

We actually have "pricing in proportion" for both domestic and overseas mail here anyway :P I guess the UK must slowly be following our lead ... :wink:

Probably :lol:
So, Australia are to blame are they? :wink: :P

I just wish that they could have done it with a bit more notice though, and ideally at the beginning of the year rather than half way through :?

Well, I'm pretty sure Australia isn't the only country to have "pricing in proportion".

At least you have had some notice. Last time the international postage prices rose in Australia (it was only by $0.05), we didn't really seem to have any notice except for a few signs in the post office (nothing on their website :|)

Thanks for the infomation Ian. Luckily it will not cost any more for me than it already does as I only send max A5 envelopes, and they stay at the current prices :)

James
