Actually ozzman's obviously caught this one in good time, but I'm fairly sure that something needs to be done with this member. Any ideas besides the obvious warning?

Yes, HVF does seem to need a bit of a personality overhaul
Since he persued the rudeness I gave him a yellow card first warning.

Thanks Joey

...but I was definitely beaten to the punch on this one

! Good call, Ian. Hopefully that will clean up his act once and for all!!! And Jim, if you read this, please don't take this member's comments to heart...Ian is 100% right that jealousy is ugly.

I just dont understand why people have to bash other members and their autographs. It is so childish, I know we have alot of young members who im sure dont care if it is real or fake just as long as they got something in the mail. LOL

Too right
I think sometimes these so-called long time collectors get a bit jealous that some younger members are getting some great autos from celebs who historiacally don't sign.
I know some of them are in fact preprints/AP's etc but unless a member specifically asks, I don't personally see the benefit from squashing their success

If however they ask, then we should be as honest as possible but in as tactful way as possible.
I 100% trust all of you guys, our moderators/experts/veterans will be thoughtful, but we just have to keep an eye on those juniors and other members!!!!!
Thanks guys, and although we sometimes have to bite our lips when we leave here and go out on the board - your hard work is always appreciated

I completely agree with you Ian. It is sometimes very clear that an autograph is not authentic, but it is not necessarily our job to tell the member that . . . especially not in a rude way :o
