Just back from London, and the news is pretty good
The producers I went to see have got to formally put a proposal to the tv channel on 15th September (I don't even know know which channel at the moment!!)
They have confirmed that "providing the channel approves their proposal" then I will be part of the new show presenting team. They are pretty confident the show format will get approval, and the show will initially be 12 one-hour episodes. In addition I will get to be an associate producer on the episodes where they decide to use some of my current cases!
The initial "launch episode" will definately be one of my cases
Anyway, I have got a bit of a wait before I get all the details as they expect the channel to be wanting to make changes and mess about
for about 6 weeks after the proposal date, so I am looking to the end of October at the earliest to get much more info I'll keep you all posted as an when I know more!!!
