Argument between R.S.V.P & The_Terrible_Toad_King

Hi everyone
I just had to lock a topic in Collecting Help as it was getting out of hand.
http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=41374
Looks like

points are also being exchanged ... which isn't helping the cause
R.S.V.P's Reputation Points
The_Terrible_Toad_King's Reputation Points

EDIT: Stephan (R.S.V.P) has brought up this issue in the Junior Moderators forum as well.

that's it! :x
I'm out of here. I just recognised that I got a negative reputation point from Admin himself because I left negative reputation feedbacks for The_Terrible_Toad_King because of his rude out-of-mind comments and because of him absuing the reputation point system. This is getting more and more ridiculous (excuse my language).
Please Ian, set me back to a normal member asap since I'm definately not willing to support this kind of stuff anymore.
It's been a nice time on here and I'm glad that I was able to help some fellow autograph collectors out.
Best of luck and all the best,
Stephan
P.S. For those who haven't recognised yet: The_Terrible_Toad_King was set back to normal status by the Admin himself as well as all negative feedbacks in his history were deleted.
This was posted in the Junior Moderators forum. Looks like R.S.V.P won't be causing any more trouble, at least under the heading of "Moderator". I can't say as I'm surprised in the least.

Hi everyone
Looks like Stephan won't be coming back to the forums either.
Apart from the fact that he's resigning as a Junior Mod, he had PM'd his resignation and so I replied ... and he replied and said he wasn't going to be coming back (and he did give a reason in his PM).

May the peace finally be restored

. I realize that Stephan was a "mixed bag of nuts", in that he could actually be helpful at times, but caused A LOT of problems as well.

Hi guys
I have received a couple of PM's from Stephan (R.S.V.P) and I have just replied to him.
In a funny sort of way I can see why he is upset, as although he obviously did go over the top with the

neg points to The_Terrible_Toad_King he was actually sticking up for the moderators. i think his original post made a fair point when he told The_Terrible_Toad_King to take his issues up with the Moderator concerned or an Admin.
Stephan's main grievance is that he received a

rep point from Admin which he feels was unwarranted, whilst the

rep points The_Terrible_Toad_King got were deleted
However, I understand that The_Terrible_Toad_King has received a week-long yellow card from Admin, but Stephan (like a lot of members probably) didn't know what that means.
I think it would actually be unfortunate if we totally lost him form the forum as I do think he has some great experience, and actually (since I have been watching and PMing him!!!) his demeanour seemed to be calming down.
After all, we have to also realise what kind of impression these recent unfortunate leavings/sackings are giving to our general members
I have PMed Admin to get his point of view, and I am waiting for him to get back to me
Ian

Oh, and him not coming back to the forums is hooey. He just posted a couple of different places, less than 1/2 hour ago.

Well it would be a shame if he did leave. He does, on occasion, have a great amount of information to contribute.
But on the other hand, he does tend to be a trouble maker. Rather than trying to end an argument, as moderators should do, he carries them on.
Either way, we'll wait and see.

By the way, the topic was not locked when I ran across it. I have since locked it.

I did lock it last night ... so it must have been unlocked by someone during that time.
I did send PM's back and forth with him in the half hour since he sent his resignation. The conversation did go off topic towards the end (we were talking about other issues) - he was definitely calming down during this time.
However, he was disappointed about the treatment he was getting regarding the

points. Part of one of his PM's actually said:
R.S.V.P wrote:It's sad since I really enjoyed the time on here ...
He's got a lot more experience and knowledge regarding autograph collecting compared to most (if not all) other members on this forum. In a way, it's disappointing to see that he had decided to leave under these circumstances.

In my Opinion he caused as much trouble as he did helping people. He did have alot of experience but on the other hand you couldnt tell him anything different. Plus when him and whosurdaddy got together it was an even bigger headache. I am kind of torn between hating to see him go and glad to see him go.
