The avatars

Unread post by Volante »

I'm probably not the only one to notice that people use very big avatars sometimes...

I mean, it's written in the profile page: "Max 80 x 80 pixels". Still people use way too big ones.

Shouldn't this maximum size be followed?

In other forums I'm a member of, you get a message if you try to use an avatar which has too big dimensions.

Well, I think this should be used here aswell ;)

I think avatars up to 100 x 100 are reasonable.

Yep, if so I would like to have the maximum sized changed in the profile page :) And a "controller", that you can't use bigger than 100x100.

Just an idea. But yes, 100x100 isn't too big probably ;)

Hi Volante :)

The problem is that one can not limit the size of the avatars when they are hosted on another website ex: imageshack.us

Avatars up to 100 x 100 are reasonable :)
