He Then Sent Another PM Telling Me His MSN Address. And I Looked At His Posts, & He Has Introdced Himself In The General Discussion Forum.

He added me on msn, and I chat to him occasionally - I don't think he means any harm, I just don't think that he knows that he's scaring people.

Good idea If you and he already talk he might not find it wierd that you were bringing it up, as opposed to if another mod did he would know that Douglas must have told other people about it.

I spoke to him yesturday about it, and he said that he wants to meet you because you seem to have great lives and that you seem very pleasant people. I told him that asking people to meet him over the internet is seen as wrong because of the risks that exist nowadays. I don't think he knows of the risks that do occur, but I have told him now and it should be ok now! But if anyone receives anything again, just tell me, and I'll ask him again.

did anyone else read this? its from the Jr mod forum, he doesnt seem to take hints.....

And yes it is funny the way hes just going round targeting all the female members, I mean its not like I dont like to meet new people on fanmail.biz, its just hes freaking me out.

On msn - he was just getting far too much...and getting rather scary because he wanted to meet, so I blocked him and he hasn't spoken to me since - I don't think he got my hints about meeting people and the risks there are nowadays. But I'm not sure what we should do about him, he may be harmless, but some people find him creepy.

I think this is getting into quite a serious issue as i have had members pming me about this user contacting them through pm's or through msn and asking to meet constantly. In my opinion i think this member should be addressed...so i will pm him personally and request that he refrains from pming female members of the forum asking to meet in person. It's a danger to everyone on the forum if this member is up to no good. If he continues to pm members doing the same thing, i will ask admin to possibly ban him from fanmail as the problem is getting to be quite serious and large.
