Here is a moderator who has gone inactive (for longer than 3 months):

And here is a list of moderators who are very close:

Kirstie http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/memberlis ... ile&u=1556 Last visited: 8/8/07

It seems I can still reply in here (at least at this moment :P)

All I wanted to say is, don't remove Aimee & Kirstie's ranks - They are indeed missed right now, and will be 'missed forever' if they're demodded. They were a great part of this team, back in the good 'ol days.

I'm confused as to how removing them as mods would affect anything :?. Anyone could up and say, "Well, hey, I know TaeBee, don't de-mod her". I don't think the 3 month rule of being inactive should be bent.

Please don't point them out like that. It hasn't been exactly 3 months yet. Who knows? Maybe one of these days they'll log on again.

It's not a secret of when moderators have been on. Actually it has been over 3 months for one of them and it's within a week of 3 months on the other three. There have been other posts made by other mods which have pointed out inactive mods other than mine. I actually posted so that the three that are very close may be contacted by other mods which could inform them of their absence if they wanted to. The "3 month rule" has been here long before me and I suggest if you don't agree with it, then you take it up with admin .

Hey, I'm won't start like you do but it was kind of rude how you said "I'm confused as to how removing them as mods would affect anything."..they are great helping mods.

I'm going to step in right now to stop this argument that's starting.

The 3 Monthish rule has been effect for quite a while. There's always been an open door policy regarding a mod that's been demoted. If they should want to come back as a mod, then they are certainly welcome to PM admin and talk it over.

I've posted almost the same summary in the admin forum about a week ago, and no one's replied to it.

And as for you lisa...please try to be a little more courteous when you talk to us...your tone seems to be getting a tad on the pushy/rude side...not trying to start an argument, just pointing out something

I know that the 3 month rule has been in effect and that's why I didn't do anything wrong by starting this topic . Other topics have been started in the exact same way as well . And I've tried to be more than courteous, even when others have tried to provoke me. I haven't meant to be pushy or rude toward anyone. Could you point out exactly where you feel this pushy/rudeness is because I'm missing it? If being direct makes me pushy or rude, well, I can't really help that .

Well one thing you could do to help it, is not to take everything so literally. Not everything is set in stone. You don't have to go by the letter on here, so there's no reason to be so direct.

When you get direct like that, it comes off as being pushy or rude. Not trying to be mean, but I just thought you'd like to know

I'm confused as to why this is such a big deal? The 3 month rule has been so for quite some time. I just happen to notice by looking at the Mods list that I haven't seen some around in quite some time. Like Daniel stated, I'm sure these mods would be welcomed back with open arms if they choose to come back {up}.

Daniel, I'm going to send you a PM that will hopefully clear up some things though ;).
