The little princess is 1!!!

Thanks Larisa ! I won't take hardly any of the credit for the cake ;). I slapped the pink icing on and got it spread, then my husband went to town and did almost all of the decorating because I was too busy running around like a chicken with it's head cut off doing other things . I'd be lost with him, I swear {love}! And those little cake triangles with the grooves for the icing are some real time savers (we got ours at Michael's for 99 cents and it was well worth every penny), let me tell you ;). And happy early birthday to you! If you don't mind me asking, how old are you going to be ?

I can only imagine how much running around you did to make it a memorable 1st b-day for Sydney. Awwww!! I'm glad you and your husband were able to work as a team in separating the duties as to what needed to be done! Ooo, I like Michael's, it's a great store! Well, thanks again for the compliments...I'll be sure tell my husband how much you appreciated it since of course Sydney didn't really have too much appreciation for it ;) ! Without him helping me, I might have just had a nervous breakdown ! It's such a special birthday (being the 1st), even though they won't remember a lick of it, both times I've done it up BIG time over the top ;). And I'm sure your birthday will be just as special too!!!! 20 is a big one...Ian and I only wish we could remember what it was like to be 20 again :razz: ...just kidding Ian {love}! I'm sure you'll have a great party and I hope all of your birthday wishes come true {thumb2}!!!!!

You're very welcome, Lisa! I hope you told your hubby how much I appreciated his hard work on the cake. One day little Sydney will appreciate the hard work you and your hubby did for her 1st b-day and so on. It is a very special birthday. My aunt just went over board with my cousins 2nd b-day a few weeks ago, so I can definitely understand to some degree what parents go through for their kids. LOL Thank you!! It'll be special even if I don't have anything planned for it, just the fact that I won't be a teen anymore is exciting enough.
