* General Tips for Graphic Makers *

Unread post by JonasBrosLuver »

Hi there! :)

Graphic makers - please consider the following:

 Always be polite to your customers...they might suggest you to other fanmail.biz users
 Try to respond as quickly as you can to your requests. Users don't want to wait to have their graphics.
 Try to do specifically what the customer wants; sometimes it is hard to understand exactly what they are looking for, but try your best! ;-)
 Go beyond what the customer wants. It's always a pleasant surprise when you do better than what they were expecting
 Make it original...make a signature that will be unique enough so that the customer will want to keep it.
 use bright colors and schemes so your signature stands out.
 pick a text that would reflect the celebrity you're making the graphic on.

Hope these tips help!

Thanks for posting, but isn't nearly everything you listed obvious??
A graphics maker is doing a customer a big favour by making them a siggy, avvie etc. and they have other things to do than making graphics. And when you are flooded with requests it is not possible to have them made in a couple of hours... (believe me, I know 8) ) People have to go to school and work.

I think that all our graphics makers make there own unique graphics and have their own style, which are all great and don't need to be made brighter or stand out more, cos they already do ...

But that's only my opinion ;-)

You forgot to mention keep them at a reasonable size. I think the height shouldn't be more than 200 pixels.

This is for those that request graphics too. Don't have more than one graphic and text in your signature. It's inconsiderate to other members that just want to read the message board, not have your signature filling up their entire screen. I don't like it when people have signatures that take up a whole page.
