He deletes the replies?

Its anoyed me alot, I dont blame people who get 2. I've sent off once to a number of people and got 2 back. With David tennant I wrote to the agency, got a sec dedication then found out about the venue (after I sent off my Doctor who card to his agency which he never signed) so I've got multiple but Id not write again untill a new Doctor who card came out from the agency. None of mine are the same and I dont understand the need for it.

Ive also requested a much wanted ant and dec 3 times and still no reply so Ive stopped, end of story, maybe if people stopped requesting once they have one I might have one now.

Maybe someone could pass this on thread to admin, I would but I've blocked replies due to spammers..

A mod doing this is setting a bad example.

Ev@ wrote:It depends, sometime you write to a celebriy to different addresses to get a chance to get something back one day (for example, I wrote to Hilary Duff to 6 addresses) and you may get a several successes (I didn't have any success  !) or if someone doesn't reply to you, you write to that personn again and one day you can get several successes !
Ayways, I wrote twice to Lucas Grabeel cuz' I got a reply from him the first time, and I wrote again to get an autograph for a friend who is a fan too =). But I'm not going to write to someone sevral times just because I know that he's going to reply every time !
Eve this is an obvios abuse, he wrote got a reply wrote again got a reply then again and again, he even got a letter telling him to stop! :( thats why everyones getting abit upset.

David tennants PA told him David has given him so many autographs already so he recieved them back unsigned, since then hes had 5 success's under another name (probably using someone elses address) which I think is out of order :(

Look on the Via Venue David tennent failure topic.

 Thats all I can say...

I think the most I've written to someone is twice.

IP I do sometimes try to get more than I should, hwoever there it is up to the person to sign them. I have had a pile of index card to lean on, and then the celeb has signed them all, and even one had a go when I told them I didn't want them to!

With D Tennant, I do have (I think) 9 autographs off him, but they are all IP, and I only asked for two, yet he offered to do the others. Then I got a photo of me and him signed afterwards...

I totally agree. I know that I have 6 autographs from one girl but I honestly wasn't expecting that. I wrote to her once asking for an autograph and she wrote me back a letter and signed it and included a signed picture. In her letter she asked a ton of questions, so just for the hell of it I wrote her back answering her questions, obviously not expecting any kind of response. But to my surprise she wrote me on myspace telling me to check my mail box soon haha. When I did a few weeks later I found a postcard she had made and she told me about London and recording her new album and she signed the bottom of it, so there we have 3. We've talked back and forth via myspace for over a year now, and she knew I was graduating, but she was on tour at the time, when she got back she told me to check the mail in a few weeks cause she sent me a grad gift (talk about shocked). So I did, and when I did she had sent me a signed copy of 2 of her cds (one of which being her newest one) and a signed tour poster from the tour she just got back from.

So my getting an autograph from the same person 6 times wasn't intentional, I had asked for one in the beginning but now I have 6, and I'm not ever going to ask for another one, even if I meet her lol. In the event of meeting her, a picture will more than enough.

Oh, I was not talking about the guy that you were talking before my post, I don't know him LOL.
I just meant in general, that sometimes you can get several replies even if you don't really want to =).

Sorry ev@ :D

I can understand what you mean, Ive done the same with ant and dec, (I emailed the day I joined then again 2 weeks ago when success's came in, I also sent a CD cover off to them) Id be happy with anything :)

The only problem what I think now is im going to end up with doubles, Ive sent off loads of letters and never bothered to log them so now I dont know who I've already wrote to

No problem ;) ! A couple weeks ago I wrote a letter to Hugh Laurie, but I forgot that I already send an email to him via SFM ! So, I think I'm going to get two replies but I don't wanted to !
