To Many TM's?

I agree with pretty much of everything that has been said here but the problem is that this issue has been discussed many times before and sadly, nothing has altered..

My concern is not mainly the people who have so few posts and so little autograph collecting experience becoming TMs - though I don't believe just anyone should be able to become a TM - it's the people like mymymy who is known to sell fake autographs and full Moderators like shaun who abuse the system, writing to celebrities upwards of 5 times requesting autographs and then complaining that they didn't answer their Q & A's.. I have no personal problem with these people, nor am I making any attacks or trying to start fights... but the thing is, what kind of example are these TMs and Mods showing new members?

I was very suprised to see mymymy having TM status as well actually, because he has a reputation of selling fakes. I think that's despicable really.

Unlike 1Dirxtion or Kassidy, mymymy selling fakes has never been 100% confirmed.

Some of you might feel strongly about him selling fakes but it is no doubt that he is a dedicated member and is committed to helping others Also, mymymy is a regular contributor to the In Person Feedback secction and I feel that he can help others with IP collecting related topics.

All I'm saying is that mymymy is much more qualified then alot of the TM's

Mymymy is one of the little number of TMs who deserves the status, although there's been that affair with selling fakes, as Jason said it's never been 100% proved and I personally don't believe he would sell fakes. He has a great knowledge about IP collecting and other things so I think he's a contribution to this site. There are much more TMs who should have never been promoted. Maybe we should make a list of concrete TMs who we think should be demoted and WHY and then let Admin know about it?

i totally agree with everbody!has anybody contacted admin about this?it feels like admin does not bother who is a TM or if he/she deserves it..they just write to him and whoop they are a TM!

what about we all put or name on an email with these concerns so he can finally see we all moderators wants good TMs who really deserves it?

The following tm's are just an example.

Chanin-Anezina, last visit - August 20th
Thumper, last visit - August 14th
Adis, last visit - November 10th - total posts 277 - most active in games 61 posts.
Basketball123, last visit - September 23rd - total posts 142.
illegalmidget132, last visit January 29th - total posts 27.

Maybe every moderator can look through their team, and then contact admin and have the 'bad' or 'inactive' tm's removed.

I think Tm's should be required to visit this site at least once a week. Unless vacation or other good reason. Why else even be a tm? 200 constructive posts should also be a requirement, same as good spelling and reasonable knowledge of the autograph collecting hobby.

I completely lost my train of thought for the moment being (it derailed into a giant ball of confusion), but going off off of what people have said, I am volunteering to compile a list. This list would be comprised of those that people fervently believe should be a TM, and those they believe absolutely should not (no in betweeners for right now). I will compile a "post" in notepad, and it will not be a post on the boards to keep the names anonymous. People can email or PM me the names of the people they want/don't want (TM or Mod), and it will be completely confidential. Once the list it comprised, I will individually follow up with my own research (scanning through majority of posts, PMing questions, ect.). Eventually the list will be publicly released (before hand, the list would be forwarded to all GM's for confirmation). and then the results would be passed on to the Admin.

We have a rule that if any team member, whether it be a moderator or TM who has not posted for 6 months or more will receive a PM first and I think if within a week's time there is no reply then they are to be demoted back to regular status.
I personally don't think Admin will do anything about your complaints. Admin continuously believes that we need more moderators. And I'm slowly beginning to believe so myself. While I do agree that there are many who shouldn't even be TMs all you can do is make sure they never become a moderator or make sure they learn the ropes properly so that they can do so.

Those are just my two cents.
