I sent some pictures, letter and SAE to David on: 2nd September 2008, and today I recieved my pictures back unsigned, plus a note from his PA.

address I used was:

David Tennant,
c/o Royal Shakespeare Company,
The Courtyard Theatre,
Southern Lane,
Straford Upon Avon,
Warwickshire
CV37 6BB

Here are the pics: Image

I am wondering about David's? personalizations now, as if the note was written by David's P.A, like you're expected too, the S on the envelope, is exctaly like David's S? and the T's look the same also, does anyone else have an option on this?

Wow this must of been the 15th-20th autograph you requested from the venue  Quite gutting if they stop signing all together pretty soon.

I don't think the writing looks anything like Davids...

It's 8 actually, NOT 15-20.

Also the stamps marked manchester? Wonder if David sent it to his PA, it'd be more proof its not the same signatures as ours.

The personalisations coming from the Stratford address match those of IP successes, while TTM do not. Why would David sign photos sent to him, and then get someone else to do the dedication? It makes no sense. I don't think he would have sent it to his PA, as it appears the note paper came directly from the RSC themselves (it's really cool notepaper btw). I doubt it's his usual PA either, I don't think he'd have taken one with his to Stratford. It's probably one organised by the RSC. Oh, and I've had many items sent to London be postmarked in Nottingham (near where I live). It's likely it was just stamped in Manchester on the way and was not posted from there.

The fact that they sent a note saying they couldnt do it because of you sending so many before also makes me believe they're genuinely by him.

There was a reason why I posted about David's management requesting the letters be sent to London rather than Stratford, but I guess very few people took what I said to heart, considering the amount of topics I see popping up  :(

Excuse me, now have I got this right? have you written to David for 8 autographs while, his has been doing Hamlet?

If so Why?? Thats the reason why some celebs stop signing altogether. And can anyone justify this unless you are personally going to give them away.

If I've any more then 2 from the same star, then I give the rest away, to help others, who need it. A real big DANGER IS THIS: A celeb, could start to think that the autograph, that he kindly gave for free, is being sold, then they stop.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need 8 of David? Even his PA finds it ridiculous

Dougie

The reply card looks weighted and nothing less than completely legit to me. I respect that you've been really successful with DT, and he's good enough to sign for everyone, but I'm sorry -- I fail to see why you need 8.

Edited to add: He himself could've written the note, you never know.

cheers

Shaun - I have traded with you a lot - and you seem very nice - but could you please stop pestering the celebrities over 5/10 times eg. michael owen, sophie thompsons, david dickinson etc....

You seem to have written to kylie at least 15 times, and I know they still sign everytime - BUT it spoils it for everyone else.

I do hope you understand {thumb2}

Best Wishes - Sam
