Ok, I don't mean to be a crappy person but I honestly don't think its right for those people who send off to the same celebrities over and over again, like 5 successes from David Tennant is just a little much, don't ya think? I mean I would just wonder why these stars stop signing for the same people who repeatively send off for autographs... I mean I look on the boards and see a 3rd Kylie Minogue success from 1 person, 6 Dan Castellaneta success from 1 person and 6 Edwin Van Der Saw successes from 1 person. I mean come on people, let some one else have a chance! While other people send out for requests the stars are too busy signing autographs for the same people over and over. Stop abusing the system! Sorry that was my little rant.... {thumb2}

I 100% agree and know what your talking about, but what can you do? Even if you banned a member for abusing the site so much it's not going to stop them writing so many times and abusing the system.

All we can do is when he shows off its his 5th 10th or 20th time is reply how wrong it is and maybe he might get some respect and stop bugging the same people over and over.

I do think a person who abuses the system should NOT be a mod but what can you do?

I agree too - I mean obviously you can't be a real fan then because if you really admire the person, surely you wouldn't have taken advantage of their time and kindness to actually sign! I've only gotten 2nd success by accident as I thought my letter got lost. But yes, I would never write to someone 10 times without good reason - and that reason would only be if my house burned down with my collection or if I really need to tell that celebrity something (although that would be very unlikely!). {thumb2}

I just think it's stupid to a) own 20 autographs of the same person and b) write to someone you're not even a fan of - that's taking advantage of the celebrity and you're just ruining it for others! :mad: Just look at what happened with the Michael Phelps e-mail address!

The strange thing is; why does he still post his feedbacks here when he knows what people's reaction will be like when they see his 15th Van Der Sar success or 12th David Tennant success.

I agree about the multiple success thing. The only people I generally send more than once is if I don't get anything back after 3-6 months, I'll try another address; Also I sometimes send more than once to a Broadway/theatre star, usually if they change plays/musicals what not. Playbills are obviously different for each show so if I liked them better in _______ I might re-send. No need to have 48578475874 successes from one celeb though.
