Autographs For Sale / Exchange NEEDS TO BE REMOVED

I have seen so many young members of this site being ripped off by lowlifes. I have also seen it start to become a breeding ground for sellers who cannot or wouldn't dare sell their forgeries on ebay or inauction houses in fear of repercussion. ADMIN. You have no legal disclaimer regarding this forum, You do not verify identification regarding sellers, traders or buyers and all this forum is doing is leaving young members on this site open to getting ripped off and heartache. Is anyone aware that in the U.S. it's illegal to enter into a contract with a minor regardless of the circumstances. This forum needs to be removed before more members get ripped off. ADMIN. It's your site and you can do what you want but protecting the members on this site should be first priority. If members want to buy, sell, trade so be it, let them do it amongst themselves and not encourage with this forum.

I agree too.
At the very least a rule should be enforced that ALL for trade/sale items MUST be shown in the thread. Doing it by email allows fakes to be traded/purchased easier.

I completely agree, people will only end up dissapointed by it all. There is no guarentee they will receive anything in return for their money.
As mentioned older members may take the necesary precautions but younger members probably wouldn't. Obviously older members can still make mistakes aswell.
I agree it should be removed, if you want to buy a photo and are up for risking it then you can go to ebay.

I really really agree. It should be gone. You don't know who you are trading with. You don't know if to trust them or not. Better just to stick with throwing away your money or your autograph. But sometimes that isn't the case. Sometimes you get it back. So....i don't know.

I will remention this in the moderators forum as I agree with all of you.
If it were to go, it wouldn't go until the new version of the forum is installed.

Well I've just taken a look at the new version of the boards and the Autographs For Sale / Exchange forum is still active. I guess it won't be removed
