Jonas Brothers Return To Sender

On Feb. 26th I sent a SASE, 2 photos, and a letter to the Jonas Brothers via one of there concerts that was happening on March 1st. On March 4th I recieved my SASE back with my letter and my 2 photos unsigned but it wasn't a return to sender. I don't know if the venue did this because they couldn't get it to them or if the Jonas Brothers did this themselves because they ran out of time or whatever the reason may be. Does anyone know what this is called when you get your stuff back unsigned in your SASE but it's not a return to sender? Thanks!

I don't know what it's really called, but I'm guessing that the letter probably came late or the VV doesn't pass fanmail.
