Denzel Washington VV stamp

Unread post by nightowl »

Today I got my photo back from Pelham 123 7-1/2 mos. later. It was stamped. And they didn't even do a nice job stamping it. It was badly smeared and parts of the signature were missing.

I had read that he doesn't sign but I thought I would try anyway (I have gotten successes more than once from celebs that were thought not to). Well . . . he doesn't. So there shouldn't be any suprise there. But when you get that envelope you still hope.

And NO I am not happy that I got 'something' back. I consider getting a PP, AP, secretarial, or stamp to be 'more' disappointing than getting nothing back. If I get nothing back, yes I'm disappointed. But if I see an envelope in the mail box. See who it's from, then open it only to discover it's not real . . . that is 'much' more disappointing than getting nothing.

Unless it's authentic I'm not interested. For those of you that love to get non authentic that's great. {up} But when you are looking forward to the real thing, nothing else is as nice.

For those of you wanting his autograph you may be able to get it in person, but don't bother trying VV.

I understand that big name stars are busy. I just thought that the vv requests would be a small enough number that they might be able to take a few seconds to sign.

I won't bother scanning a stamp. It looks just like the previous stamp posted and theirs is at least nicely done.
