Wicked Cast (San Francisco) Success!

I'm so happy because there's a lot of signatures on it and because I'm going to see it on the 24th which was why I wanted to write to them in the first place. I wasn't expecting anything because it wasn't for Broadway and I didn't expect they would send me anything but I did get a response with an autographed playbill, I haven't been able to make out all the signatures yet. Oddly enough, I got both my Wicked successes today, since I got the Broadway one today too which I thought was weird that they both came today.

Don't expect that fast of a response, it's only because I live in the same city as them that I got it that fast, it will probably take longer if you're writing from somewhere else. I found out David Garrison (he played Steve Rhodes in Married With Children) is in this one as the Wizard which I totally didn't know before I got the playbill. I can't wait to see him live since I loved him in MWC.

have you been to the Orpheum Theatre before? I'm going to see Wicked in June and I got balcony seats and I'm hoping I'll be able to see.

I haven't yet, the first time I'll be going is the 24th, I have the Mezzanine seats, I'm sure you will be able to see, it might be from far away though so I'm not sure how much you will be able to see, I've never been there so I can't say.

Thats so awesome, I just went to see wicked (march 4th) the orpheum is a nice theatre, its pretty small, so balcony is fine, the only complaint i have on balcony seats is that you cant see some of the bridge on the set but its fine, its not that far away, you could always bring opera glasses if your worried about the distance. Im seeing it again closing week in june, its one of my fave musicals.

I was really looking forward to seeing teal wicks perform as elphie, and the day i went vicki noon was elphie but she did an amazing job, and i love kendra, they did amazing. and wicked is my number one fave musical, i could go all the time.

Just for people to know, you get a 15min break, but the lines to the bathroom are like a mile long so if you have to go, id say book it out of the theatre right after defying gravity finishes. lol

How do you know how much to put on the SASE? Also, what do you write in the request letter?

Me again. I noticed that someone else got autographed photos of Teal Wicks from LA. DO you think it's okay to ask for photos and the signed playbill? How much postage is the playbill? What size SASE did you use for it?

I always two two forever stamps for my SASE for playbills if you want more than one then 3 forever stamps will do, but if you just want one I would put two of them, the SASE I used was 6x9 I think, I used a larger one to put my SASE in.

I don't know if they will send you any photos if you don't send your own, since they were charging 35 per autograph photo at the acutual Wicked show last night when I went, you could try, but then you have to include more postage on your SASE.

Since I was going to see the SF show when I wrote, I just said how much I'm looking forward to watching the show, how much I enjoy the music, etc... mostly just how much I couldn't wait to see it

Thanks! Who was Elphaba last night? I was thinking of going this week (I keep going to the limited view seats), but am waiting for Teal to come back. I didn't know they sell autographed pictures there - good to know.

Have you tried the stage door after the show?
