The musical is a "juke box" musical meanign they use famous songs not originally composed for the theatre. Something like "Mamma Mia!" and "Jersey Boys" are also jukebox musicals, but obviously they only use one band.

The idea was to apparently use a few of Def Leppard's songs, but they refused to give the rights to perform the songs to the creators. However, the title still stood!

It's a funny show - lots of Poison, Bon Jovi, Journey, etc.!

Nice one!
Lol this is what I would call a LAZY SUCCESS. They tried to get the person's autograph the easiest way possible, and it backfired. Oh well, he's in the show through March so you're fine to write him!

I wouldn't call it a "LAZY SUCCESS" And I won't call printing up pictures writing a letter and search through 100s of my trading card singles easy.

I sent a photo and a bunch of trading cards to Tom Lenk VV and received none of them back but I did receive a cast signed playbill (with out his signature) Don't get me wrong I love my playbill but that was not what I was attempting to request. This may be due to the fact that his role starting date was delayed and I was not aware of this, but someone was nice enough to send me this playbill. I did send the another picture and some other trading cards back out and I finally got them back very quickly a few days later---all signed with a nice note {??} I have tickets to see Rock of Ages in November, and the only reason I am going is because Tom Lenk is performing.

I am sure that anyone would be a little disappointed not to get thier pictures back---but would be still be happy to get an awesome signed playbill. I don't collect playbills but from what I see with A Steady Rain if you address the letter to an actor, it is fowarded to the actor. If you address to the cast or stage manager, you will recieve a playbill. I addressed mine to an actor not the stage manager/cast.

Maybe I should of used the subject Tom Lenk Failure/ Rock of Ages Success....and I still wish my pictures were returned so I didn't have to print and find some others to resend.

Maybe I should of titled it Tom Lenk Failure-- Rock of Ages Success
