Congratulations on your feedback! I also think it looks authentic, as it matches very good to my in person one from him. The "J" looks very similar, and also the part after the "L" - the "w" scribble. The venue you sent it to probably told you not to send anything, as they dont want people to send too much mail to Jude there.
